There are hadiths where the close companions of the Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) like Ibn Umar used to cut his beard before going to visit the Ka’aba in Mecca. But some extreme scholars considered it as compulsory based on these fake fabricated hadiths. And finally, all the enemies of the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) in Mecca or the Pagans in Mecca like Abu Jahal, Abu Lahab had long beards. So having a beard doesn’t make anyone Muslim. The clear Sunnah is trimming the Moustache. Coz everyone in Desert arabia had beard.
